Jason's parents came over Sunday night for a belated fathers day dinner. Grumpy has been working so much lately, this is the first chance for him to come have dinner with us. After many long nights of searching the web for the perfect father's day gift, Jason came up with the Moshi. It is a voice activated alarm clock. You can ask it what time it is, what is the temperature, to play sleep sounds, tell it what time to set your alarm etc.. This sounded soo cool! I couldn't wait to play with it! Being the stickler Jason is though, he made me wait for his dad to open it before he would take it out of the box! :(
After dinner and dessert, with much anticipation, Grumpy opened his gift and Jason plugged it up to demonstrate this amazing clock! Of course anything electronic is going to have its glitches right? For some reason when we plugged it in, it would only recognize Jason's voice! It wouldn't respond to anyone but him! UH-OH! NOT GOOD FOR GRUMPY! It was soo funny, here we are trying to get it to recognize someone else's voice....
And here is Moshi...doing what it's supposed to be doing, JUST FOR JASON!! LOL!
I know this is probably not that funny to you guys, but if you were there it was HILARIOUS! Moshi would not respond to ANYONE but Jason, Pierson was running around talking to Moshi like it was a person and expecting real responses, Car-Car was all up in the mess talking to Moshi in her Carson language! I was trying to get Moshi to understand ME, with no response!! All you could hear was everyone yelling 'HELLO MOSHI'! CHAOS! Total Chaos, but boy was it GOOD TIMES!
In the end, once the kids left the room and it was Grumpy alone with Moshi, it did respond to him. Sooo it ended up being a fun, cool gift, and brought a lot of laughter to the Stoyanov household Sunday night!
