Pierson's 4th Birthday

Pierson had his 4th birthday this past Saturday! I.CAN.NOT.BELIEVE.HOW.TIME.FLIES! I remember him being a newborn baby like it was yesterday! Time needs to slow down! I can't stand for them to grow up so fast! Seems like it all happens in the blink of an eye!

Anyway, Pierson got a new bike and helmet for his birthday from us. He loved it! We took him to a near by parking lot to ride around on it. On his tricycle, he can pedal forward and backwards to go. On his bike, when you pedal backwards, the brakes would stop the bike. So, he kept trying to pedal backwards, and it just wasn't going as good as we had imagined it would. No worries though, after about 45 minutes of being out there....he conquered it and was doing a great job! The only thing now, instead of using brakes to stop...he just jumps off the bike! Definitely need to work on that skill!

Sunday along with Mothers Day we had Pierson's birthday party. For Mothers Day, Jason and the kids got me a one hour massage from Rejuventation Clinic! I can't wait to use it! For the birthday party, this is the 2nd year in a row we got to have it at the Peabody Suite at Dickey Stephens Park, thanks to our good friend Melissa. Pierson loves watching the game, and yelling at the players...(go...go..go..go!!!) With all this enthusiasm for the game, I can't wait till he is old enough to play t-ball. I was hoping to get him in this year, but you had to be 4 by May 1st, and he didn't turn 4 till May 9th! Ugh! Technicalities!!

Back to the game....With threat of rain, we were so afraid the game would get cancelled or delayed and no party for P. But thank goodness, prayers were answered and the game went on! Everyone had a great time! Carson especially had fun running around the room with chicken tender in hand, looking out the big windows! As the party came to an end, while we were packing up all the gifts.....Accident occured! It's not a party until someone goes to the Emergency Room right?! Well cousin Ella's finger got smashed in the door hinge and broke the tip of her finger! :( Reports from Jenn, are that all is well and she seems to be totally fine! Thank goodness! Poor baby!
