Boys Vs. Girls

It is sooo fun for me to experience the HUGE differences in boys vs. girls....aka Pierson vs. Carson.

Both are happy babies. Pierson doesn't let anything bother him at all. If he falls, he bounces right back up. Carson will cry, look around and make sure someone SEES her crying...and then will cry a little bit louder, till her pain is known! We like to call this DRAMA in our house.

Pierson would eat anything and everything put on his plate when he was Carson's age. Carson will only eat the sweet stuff. It's a running joke with Jason and I, about what to feed Carson at meal time. Hmm...how about fruit!!! Sure that is what she ate the last 5 meals, but that is the ONLY thing we can get her to eat these days. Everything else is one bite and then the rest is thrown off the table. We like to call this PICKY!

Pierson loves to be loud! He is definitely the loudest kid I know. He loves loud sounds, music, etc...basically anything loud makes him happy. He has actually even screamed sooo loud in the house that he has set off our alarm system on more than one occasion. THAT is how loud this child is!! Carson on the other hand doesn't like loud noises at all. She will actually cry if we are too loud. Jason has come home and taken off his shoes and beaten them together to get some mud off and she started crying. We like to call this SENSITIVE!!

Pierson took 3 weeks to learn how to take a sippy cup. He would not take that cup for anything! We were so nervous when Carson turned one that we were going to have that struggle with her as well. Low and behold, Carson took straight to it. She is really good with change. It doesn't bother her to miss a nap, or be off schedule or do things a little bit differently. Pierson on the other hand goes CRAZY if any one thing is out of order.

Pierson was a very busy baby! He did not have time for anyone to love and hug and cuddle with him unless he sick or just about to lay down for bed. Carson ALWAYS has time to cuddle! She will play, play and play...stop to come give you a hug, and then go play some more. She is a very CUDDLY little girl!

So all in all, they are kind of.....uhm....TOTALLY OPPOSITE!!  I love them both equally, not one more than the other.  It just amazes me how two kids, raised in the exact same environment are completely different! I absolutely love it! Makes for a much more fun, interesting life!
