Halloween

Okay! So Halloween weekend was packed with activities! I for one, am Halloween'd out and think that it is WAY overdone! By the time you get to the actual day you are exhausted and ready for it to be over! But the kids enjoy it all, so I digress...P dressed up as a boxer and my C was lovely Snow White!

Friday I took the kids to my work to go cube to cube trick or treating. This is usually the only time we get to see our coworkers kids other than snapshots, so it's always fun. Everyone's kids were super cute and got A LOT of candy! Lucky me, had won tickets to Boo at the Zoo, so after 4 years of avoiding going to it we went since.....it was free. I know this is a big LR event and is a money maker for the zoo, but we did NOT enjoy it. All the animals were put up, you had to search for the trick or treat stations, and then give them tickets to get candy. One ticket = 2 tootsie rolls, or dum dums or something small like that! NOT WORTH IT! Long lines, little candy, muddy, cold..blah! Don't everybody get in a huff and start defending Boo at the Zoo...i'm just saying it wasn't for us! K? K!

Halloween Day, our neighborhood had a small carnival for the kids at the park! Hayrides, pumpkins, hot dogs and treats! It was super cute and the kids had a great time! Anytime you say hayride, I know P is going to be super pumped! The LRFD was also out there for the kids to climb on the fire engine and do some exploring! Here are some snapshots of our fun weekend!
